RuLIV is continuing with the preparation of close-out reports and the documentation of lessons from the SURUDEC programme in 2014.

Ongoing support is being undertaken with a number of former SURUDEC projects which have shown promising practices in the areas of Willowvale, Kirkwood, Makana, Keiskammahoek and Queenstown. Most of the support work revolves around Integrated Community Development Plans and their implementation.

RuLIV continues to provide invaluable mentoring and enterprise development assistance to emerging farmers through strong links with both the departments of Rural Development and Land Reform (national) and the Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform (provincial) together with the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

In addition RuLiv is developing expertise in the green technologies such as waste recycling and other climate change mitigating initiatives.
